Fritchen named SafanDarley North America president

SafanDarley has named Karl Fritchen as its new president of SafanDarley North America LLC. He will lead all of the company’s North American operations, working closely with distributors in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. He also has been charged with expanding the company’s service structure with the goal of offering more support to its distributor network.

Fritchen has worked for QuadTech, a division of Quad/Graphics, for the past 32 years. He started in service, and he has served as president of the company for 16 years.

Maarten Coerman, CEO of SafanDarley Group, said the hiring of Fritchen is a clear signal to North American metal fabricators how important this market is to the company.

“We believe that SafanDarley offers solutions that are a valuable asset to the North American entrepreneurs in the sheet metal business. The decision of Karl to join our team is a clear signal of his confidence in our plans,” Coerman said.
