General Carbide acquires Only Tool

Greensburg, Pa.-based General Carbide Corp., a vertically integrated manufacturer of finished tooling for industrial wear and metal forming applications, has purchased Only Tool, Ypsilanti, Mich. Only Tool provides design, production, and servicing of precision carbide and high-speed steel tooling used in cold extrusion and cold forming.

Under terms of the sales agreement, co-owners Ray Fender and Mick Ruffolo will continue to operate the business.
