IDDRG conference announces abstract submission deadline

The International Deep Drawing Research Group (IDDRG) will host its 41st conference in Lorient, France, June 6-10, 2022. Titled “Beyond the horizon for conventional and non-conventional sheet forming processes” and organized by Université Bretagne Sud., the conference will cover the following main topics:

• Formability of sheet metals and characterization methodologies
• Material constitutive modeling
• Necking, instability, and formability limit prediction
• Inline control in sheet metal forming
• Digitalization in tooling and intelligent tools for sheet metal forming
• Advanced simulation methods for sheet metal forming
• Damage and fracture in sheet metal forming
• Tribology, friction, and wear in forming
• Shear cutting and blanking
• Sheared edge formability
• AHSS and Gen-3 steels
• Warm and hot forming
• Artificial intelligence in sheet metal forming

The deadline for abstract submission is Nov. 1. Submission is managed via sciencesconf.org. Authors first need to create an account, then log in to the conference website and click on “abstract submission.”
