Kiski Precision Industries acquires Alpha Carb Enterprises

Kiski Precision Industries (KPI) has acquired the operations of Alpha Carb Enterprises (ACE). The two Leechburg, Pa.-based industrial services companies have been neighbors for years.

ACE manufactures carbide progressive stamping dies, carbide and steel die components, and precision metal stampings. KPI offers high-volume and contract manufacturing services, specializing in precision machining, welding, fabrication, and wiring assembly.

“We only have a few overlapping customers and two overlapping services—machining and EDM—but KPI is new to EDM and has traditionally focused on machining and fabrication, while ACE does less machining and much more EDM. The expansion of these services will provide our customers with significantly more capacity for all services provided,” said Dave Holm, KPI’s president.

ACE’s 24 employees have been offered jobs at KPI, and its senior leadership are staying on in their roles. Operations and customer project delivery from the 45,000-sq.-ft. ACE shop floor are continuing as normal.
