Lutco launches new line of air cargo ball transfers

Lutco, a Worcester, Mass., manufacturer of custom bearings, stampings, and machined components, has launched a new product line of ball transfers for air cargo and other heavy-duty load applications.

The ball transfers, which fit industry-standard holes of 1-3/4 in., allow for simplified manual movement of ULDs, pallets, and other heavy cargo. Made from machined steel, they feature a steel cup with a polished, stamped, and coined inner race. The inner race is designed to provide smooth running quality in all directions using an optimized internal geometry that enhances load-carrying capability.
