Macrodyne increases European manufacturing capabilities through Dunkes acquisition

Toronto-based hydraulic press manufacturer Macrodyne Technologies Inc. has acquired Dunkes GmbH, a German press manufacturer that supplies customized straightening, joining, and forming systems to meet specific requirements. The acquisition of Dunkes adds those competencies to Macrodyne’s portfolio, along with increasing its European manufacturing capabilities and services.

“We decided to have Dunkes grow through an acquisition because we believe that a larger organization will allow us to provide a wider array of products and more depth in specific markets,” said Rico Heinz, Dunkes GmbH CEO.

As part of Macrodyne Technologies Inc., Dunkes will do business as Dunkes – A Macrodyne Company. Existing customers from the combined companies will have access to the full portfolio of products and services from across Macrodyne and Dunkes, including pressing equipment from 10 to 30,000 tons.
