Morgan Truck Body to open plant in Connecticut

Morgan Truck Body LLC, Morgantown, Pa., a manufacturer of medium-duty truck bodies, has announced plans to open a plant in Plainfield, Conn. It is expected to become operational during Q4 2018.

The plant will support production of a combination of 3,000 dry freight and reefer truck bodies annually. It will encompass more than 175,000 sq. ft. and employ about 140 people. This will be the company’s 13th plant in the U.S. and Canada, and the company plans to add a 14th in the Midwest in the near future.
