Motor City Stamping expanding in Michigan

Motor City Stamping Inc. has broken ground on a 28,000-sq.-ft. expansion of its facility in Chesterfield, Mich. The additional space, which will accommodate a new Arisa 1,650-ton transfer press, is expected to be production-ready by February 2022.

The new press joins the company’s 10 progressive die presses (300 to 1,000 tons) and a 1,200-ton transfer press.

The family-owned and -operated, Certified Woman Owned Business is a stamping supplier of single PC and assembled automotive structural components to GM, Honda NA, and Ford. The company also provides products to a number of Tier 1 suppliers.
