Newcomb Spring appoints general managers

Newcomb Spring Corp., a custom spring, wire form, and metal stamping manufacturer in Decatur, Ga., has appointed Nathan Watson as general manager of its Thornton, Colo., plant and Jason Bingham as general manager of its Ooltewah, Tenn., plant. These appointments follow the retirements of Bob Herman and Keith Porter Sr., who served as general managers of the Colorado and Tennessee plants, respectively.

Watson joined the company in 2012 as a CNC setup technician and operator. He was promoted to shipping and receiving supervisor and most recently to plant production manager. He has a degree in molecular biology from University of Denver.

Bingham has been with the company since 2000 as a quality technician. He was promoted a year later to quality manager and has served as operations manager since 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Virginia Tech.
