NIMS seeks feedback on stamping press operator apprenticeship framework

The National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS), Fairfax, Va., is seeking subject matter experts to provide feedback on a newly drafted apprenticeship framework that the Urban Institute is developing for stamping press operators. This session is part of the Urban Institute’s initiative to build national frameworks for registered apprenticeships in multiple occupations, including advanced manufacturing. NIMS skills standards and credentials serve as nationally recognized, competency-based benchmarks within the frameworks.
