North American Stamping Group acquires Alex Products

North American Stamping Group (NASG), a Tier 2 automotive stamping and assembly supplier in Portland, Tenn., has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Alex Products (AP), a manufacturer of seat structures and components.

AP has 1,000 associates and a total of 450,000 sq. ft. of space. Its three manufacturing facilities are located in Ridgeville Corners, Bryan, and Paulding, Ohio, in addition to a technical center in Ridgeville Corners and a sales office in Michigan. Its processes include stamping, wire forming, tube bending, resistance welding, GMAW, automated assembly, e-coating, powder coating, and prototype development.

The combined companies comprise 10 manufacturing facilities, two technical centers, and one sales office, with more than 1.6 million sq. ft. and 2,000 associates.
