Okay Industries names engineering manager

New Britain, Conn.-based Okay Industries Inc., a contract manufacturer of components and subassemblies for global medical device OEMs, has promoted Mario Chaves Jr. to engineering manager. In this role, he oversees the growth and development of the engineering team in Alajuela, Costa Rica, and manages strategy and budget planning.

Chaves joined the company 10 years ago as a machinist. He also has served in production control, purchasing, facilities, and IT.
