Phoenix Specialty Mfg. names CEO
Russell Hurst III
Phoenix Specialty Mfg. Co., Bamberg, S.C., a contract manufacturer of small stamped sheet metal parts such as shims, seals, gaskets, spacers, and washers, has appointed Russell Hurst III as CEO. With this appointment, the family-owned firm is now operating in its fourth generation.
Hurst holds a master’s degree from North Carolina State University in integrated manufacturing systems engineering. He joined the company as a pressroom manager in 2010 and has served as operations manager and vice president of sales.
The company’s capabilities include stamping, forming, small machined cylindrical parts, and waterjet fabrications.
