Precision Metalforming Association acquires STAMPING Journal magazine, related assets

MetalForming magazine, in cooperation with the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), announced today that it has completed the acquisition of STAMPING Journal magazine and the related assets from the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, International (FMA).

“We are very excited about this acquisition, which will further strengthen the MetalForming magazine brand, and we look forward to providing the highest level of coverage to the metalforming industry,” said PMA President David Klotz.

“FMA is sharpening its mission and strategic direction to best serve the metal fabrication industry,” said Ed Youdell, FMA President and CEO. “FMA and PMA have a strong history of partnership as we have worked together for many years as part of the group of associations that produce FABTECH. We believe PMA is the best choice to steward the brand into the future, and we look forward to watching their success.”

MetalForming will assume full publishing responsibilities of STAMPING Journal. Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

STAMPING Journal has a history of providing great industry content, and we are committed to providing the same excellence that its loyal customer base has been accustomed to, in print and online,” said Mike Vohland, PMA vice president sales/publisher.
