Schuler to deliver two press lines to Sitem S.p.A.

Schuler Inc. has received an order from Italy-based electrical steel manufacturer Sitem S.p.A. for two Smartline SA-315S high-speed presses. The machines’ 315-ton press force is fully available over the entire output range from 100 to 400 SPM.

Featuring a clamping area of 1,200 to 2,700 mm, the presses’ beds offer sufficient space for Sitem’s punching dies. The maximum weight for an upper part of 3,125 kg also is sufficient. The servomotor slide adjustment allows for quick die changes, and the cast press body helps improve damping, says the company.
