Sheet Metal Supply purchases new equipment to expand production

Sheet Metal Supply, a fabricator and supplier of custom-formed roofing perimeter edge metal products and processed coil and flat stock, has purchased two machines that will provide the capability to produce heavier, longer, and more precise product for the glazing industry, as well as more precise custom substructural components for the façade products it already manufactures.

The company has added a Safan Darley E-Brake 130T-4100 and an AccurShear 625020 to its Grayslake, Ill., facility. The press brake allows for servo-electronic bending with reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The shear features a 20-ft. blade that cuts metal up to 0.25 in. thick.
