Tooling Tech Group appoints general manager for automation division

Tooling Tech Group, a provider of automated assembly equipment and highly engineered tools in Macomb, Mich., has hired Mark Alfes as general manager for its automated systems division.

Alfes has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on automation and business development. He served most recently as vice president and general manager at Wauseon Machine & Mfg. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and a master’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
