TRUMPF Inc. appoints new bending product manager

TRUMPF Inc. has named Christopher Wargo as product manager for stand-alone TruBend machines at its North American headquarters in Farmington, Conn. He succeeds Roger Michaud, who now focuses on TruPunch and combination punch-laser products. Franziska Maschowski, as head of Smart Factory applications and bend automation, continues to manage the automated bending cell product line and TruBend Cell products.

As part of the bending applications team for more than seven years, Wargo has built up technical expertise of the operation and programming of the entire TruBend portfolio, including stand-alone machines, robotic bend cells, and Smart Factory systems such as Oseon. He began his career with the company as a punching machine application engineer. Wargo has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Roger Williams University.
