AZZ Inc. acquires Lectrus Corp.

Fort Worth, Texas-based AZZ Inc., a global provider of metal coatings services, welding systems, specialty electrical equipment, and highly engineered services to the power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial markets, has purchased certain assets of Lectrus Corp.

The Lectrus facility in Chattanooga, Tenn., was included in the assets acquired by AZZ Enclosure Systems – Chattanooga LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.

Lectrus manufactures custom metal enclosures and related electrical and mechanical integration for companies in the oil and gas, power generation, transmission and distribution, petrochemical, and alternative energy markets.
