AZZ Inc. acquires Precoat Metals

AZZ Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, a provider of galvanizing and metal coating services, has completed the acquisition of the Precoat Metals business division of Sequa Corp.

The St. Louis-based Precoat is an independent provider of metal coil coating services. The company offers application of protective and decorative coatings and related value-added services for steel and aluminum coil primarily serving the construction, appliance, HVAC, container, and transportation markets.

Precoat has approximately 1,100 employees and operates a network of 13 manufacturing facilities with 15 coating lines and 17 value-added processing lines.
