CCAI announces new online powder coating course

The Chemical Coaters Association Intl., Lakewood Ranch, Fla., is launching its first online course in a series of industrial finishing training opportunities. Powder Coating is a seven-week course that will be held July 6 to Aug. 22, 2021.

Taught by industry expert and finishing consultant Rich Saddler of Industrial Finishing Solutions LLC, this self-paced course provides information on the overall powder coating process, including powder coating types, manufacturing of powder coatings, surface preparation, powder application technology and recovery systems, curing technologies, quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

The course will include weekly assignments, quizzes, and interactive forum discussions among students and Saddler. The registration fee includes a copy of CCAI’s sixth-edition “Powder Coating for Industrial Finishing Applications” training manual.
