CCAI names top scholarship award after longtime CCAI member

Each year the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI), Lakewood Ranch, Fla., awards scholarships to deserving college students who are currently enrolled in programs that could lead to a career in the finishing industry. This year the top scholarship recipient will be awarded the newly created Jim Gallagher Scholarship, in honor of the longtime CCAI member who died in November 2021.

Gallagher served on the national board of directors and the Wisconsin chapter board of directors for many years. He participated on the Education Committee and co-authored and edited countless CCAI technical manuals. He was well-known for his generosity and kindness both professionally and personally.
