CCAI recognizes 2023 award recipients

The Chemical Coaters Association Intl. has presented its 2023 James F. & David J. Wright Lifetime Achievement Awards and recognized the CCAI Chapter Users and Suppliers of the Year.

The Lifetime Achievement Award, CCAI’s highest honor, was awarded to two deserving members that have dedicated years of service to the association and the industrial finishing industry. Posthumously, Jim Gallagher of Harley Davidson was recognized for more than 20 years of service to the finishing industry. He was a national board member, Wisconsin Chapter board member and president, and editor of multiple CCAI technical training manuals. Also receiving this award was CCAI’s most recent national past president, Duane Fudge, whose passion, knowledge, and experience have greatly benefitted the association.

The 2023 Chapter Award winners are:

• Alabama Chapter - Scott Bishop, Alabama Power Co.
• Las Vegas Chapter - AR Iron LLC and Luis Hernandez, Quaker Houghton.
• Twin Cities Chapter - Angela Kokesh, Life Fitness; and Michelle Striggow, Graco Inc.
• West Michigan Chapter - Lindsey Boyle, BASF/Chemetall.
• Wisconsin Chapter – ICAFE Inc. and Alexa Cayce, Mercury Marine.
