Laser Photonics receives order from Ship Point Machine

Laser Photonics Corp., Orlando, Fla., has received an order from Ship Point Machine Co. for its CleanTech LPC-1000-CTHS hand-held, portable laser cleaning system.

The single-axis, 1,000-W laser is designed for cleaning, roughing, and finishing a variety of surfaces like iron, steel, and aluminum.

Based in Hollywood, Md., Ship Point Machine offers specialized engineering services including sheet metal fabrication. With the laser cleaning system, the company plans to expand into new commercial markets and broaden service offerings for its primarily maritime and federal government client base.
