MicroCare appoints laboratory technical director

MicroCare LLC, New Britain, Conn., a manufacturer of chemistries and tools used in metal finishing and other critical cleaning applications, has hired Marufur Rahim as technical director to oversee the company’s laboratory, R&D, and quality teams.

Rahim has more than 20 years of experience in technical direction and management, including director and manager roles at Chemence, Dymax, and Selena. He holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in technology management from the University of Waterloo.
