Pangborn, a supplier of shotblast and surface preparation equipment, has announced the opening of its Customer Technology Center in Fairburn, Ga. The facility is designed for pre- and postpurchase evaluations, validation of modernization and process improvement designs, and internal R&D.

The center is equipped with a multipurpose room with a robotic arm and an interchangeable wheel to simulate a variety of applications. This room and a set of standard machines give the company the flexibility to move quickly from computer simulations to real-world testing and validation. Customers also can visit the center for demonstration and training on a variety of shotblasting equipment and parts.
