PCI releases consumer awareness and certification videos

The Powder Coating Institute, Lakewood Ranch, Fla., has introduced the third video in the “Powder Coating, A Better Kind of Paint” consumer video series at www.powdercoating.org/abetterkindofpaint.

“Powder Coating: A Stronger Kind of Paint,” which rounds out the “Stronger, Greener, Better” portion of the series, focuses on the durability and weatherability of powder coating when compared to liquid paint.

PCI also has introduced a certification program promotional video, which features three PCI-certified companies sharing the benefits of certification and their experience with the process. This audit program evaluates a company’s powder coating processes and procedures, equipment, maintenance practices, and quality control capabilities to ensure it can produce a high-quality powder-coated product. The program offers two certification types: PCI 3000 certification for custom coaters and PCI 4000 certification for OEMs.
