SuperMax Tools acquired by Laguna Tools

St. Paul, Minn.-based SuperMax has been acquired by Laguna Tools Inc., an Irvine, Calif.-based manufacturer of CNC machinery and band saws, table saws, edge banders, and other woodworking and metalworking equipment.

SuperMax designs and sells drum, brush, and combo sanders for the woodworking and metalworking industries, as well as sander accessories such as dust collectors, abrasives, and brushes.

The acquisition is not expected to cause any immediate changes, as SuperMax’s management team remains in place. An East Coast distribution center is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
