The Pangborn Group selects VP of operations

The Pangborn Group, Fairburn, Ga., a provider of surface preparation products, has appointed Lori Kent as vice president of operations. She is a 25-year veteran of the manufacturing industry, with experience running various divisions of Char-Broil LLC. At that company, she also had direct responsibility for product management, product development, and corporate strategy and served most recently as director of project management organization.

Kent received a bachelor’s degree from Columbus State University and an MBA from Auburn University. She also has earned certifications in Six Sigma (Black Belt), project management, and executive leadership from the University of North Carolina.
