Valmont Coatings wins seven Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing Awards

The Coatings Segment of Omaha, Neb.-based Valmont Industries Inc. has won seven Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing Awards from the American Galvanizing Association.

The firm won in seven categories with the following projects:

• Original Equipment Manufacturing – The SAFER barrier project, Birmingham and Columbia facilities.
• Food and Agriculture – Florida greenhouse project, Tampa facility.
• Civic Contribution – Myakka City Lemur Reserve, Tampa facility.
• Electrical, Utility, and Communication – Transmission support structure, Oklahoma facility.
• Transportation – Miami-Dade Expressway toll plaza, Miami facility.
• Artistic – San Jose mammoth sculpture, Calwest facility.
• Duplex –Los Angeles 101 Freeway pedestrian overcrossing, Calwest facility.
