Weiler Abrasives marks 75th anniversary

Weiler Abrasives employees wore T-shirts to commemorate the milestone.

Weiler Abrasives, a provider of abrasives, power brushes, and maintenance products for surface conditioning, is celebrating its 75th anniversary.

Founded by Karl E. Weiler in 1944 as the Weiler Brush Co. in Long Island, N.Y., the company continues to be privately owned and operated at its current headquarters in Cresco, Pa., under the fourth-generation leadership of Chris Weiler, CEO. Chris’ father, Karl M. Weiler, serves as chairman.

The company now has 1,300 employees in eight countries.
