Weiler partners with Workshops for Warriors to launch fundraising campaign

Weiler Abrasives Group, Cresco, Pa., a provider of abrasives, power brushes, and maintenance products for surface conditioning, has launched a national fundraising campaign, "Leading A Warriors’ Charge," in partnership with Workshops for Warriors®, a nonprofit school that trains, certifies, and helps place veterans, wounded warriors, and transitioning service members into advanced manufacturing careers.

Weiler donated $25,000 to kick off the year-long campaign that will support machining and welding training programs at the nonprofit trade school, as well as contribute to long-term growth of the organization.

The company has been providing Workshops for Warriors with in-kind support since 2014, supplying abrasive and safety products to meet the needs of each incoming class every semester. The company will continue offering this support and will promote the fundraising campaign at tradeshows and with partnership-branded product packaging.
