Harris Welding & Machine adds fiber laser
Custom metal fabricator Harris Welding & Machine Co. has added a TRUMPF 8-kW fiber laser with automated load/unload to its facility in Ashland, Ohio.
According to Ashland Source, the laser features an oversized cutting table that handles sheets up to 80 by 160 ft. for processing materials up to 1 in. thick. It also can etch part numbers, bend lines and directions, and weldment locations.
