LVD renames North America Sales and Service division

Belgium-based sheet metal fabricating equipment manufacturer LVD has announced LVD North America, the new trade name for the Sales and Service division of Strippit Inc. for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The LVD North America trade name replaces the LVD Strippit brand and reflects alignment with the broader LVD Group organization.

Strippit Inc. became part of the LVD Group in 1998. Strippit’s Akron, N.Y.-based engineering and manufacturing facility will become an independent production facility for the LVD Group, serving all markets worldwide. As such, the 250,000-sq.-ft. facility will be used to manufacture a broader range of LVD products.

Sylvain Lefebvre, part of the third-generation ownership of the LVD business, will head LVD North America as president. He has spent the last four years establishing and managing the company’s LVD Mexico subsidiary.

The senior management team of LVD North America will include Elizabeth Victor, vice president sales and marketing, and Mathieu Vanbraekel, vice president customer service.
