Spain-based Tecoi offering sales, service, spare parts from Texas location

Spain-based Tecoi, a provider of sheet and plate metal processing equipment currently operating a location in Longview, Texas, intends to open a facility in Dallas. The Texas location offers sales, service, and spare parts, and plans call for a showroom to offer equipment demonstrations.

The company designs, manufactures, installs, and maintains laser, plasma, and oxyfuel cutting systems, as well as edge machining, milling, and plate processing equipment. It offers Hypertherm or Kjellberg units in its plasma systems and TRUMPF TruDisk solid-state fiber lasers in its laser systems.

This equipment, ranging from compact and simple to maximum power stations, is present on five continents and in all sectors of metal processing, from steel mills and service centers to oil and gas, offshore, onshore, railcars, pressure vessels, and aeronautical factories.

The manufacturer also offers additional automation and material handling systems aimed at complementing and facilitating the cutting process. One example is an automatic plate storage tower that allows the material to be stored and disposed of autonomously directly from the cutting table.

Recent developments include a multigantry system for its laser cutting stations. Powered by SOLOMON software, the gantries work independently, together, or autonomously.
