AT&F adds laser welding equipment

Steel fabricator AT&F has added a laser welding machine to its facility in Cleveland. The equipment gives the company the capability to produce “welded wide” material, joining large sheets and laser-cut profiles on one machine.

While the fabricator has been providing these services using a hybrid laser welding system, the new technology expands its light-gauge welding capabilities and capacity. The company now can join multiple sections of material together, with lengths exceeding 75 ft. and widths exceeding 10 ft.
