Shelby Township, Mich.-based Avon Machining, a Tier 1 manufacturer of large, complex, precision parts for the aerospace, defense, construction, mining, energy, and agriculture industries, has acquired Plasma-Tec, Wayland, Mich.
Plasma-Tec specializes in machining and turning components that are 1 to 8 in. dia. and up to 60 in. overall length.
