MW Industries acquires Tri-Star Industries

Rosemont, Ill.-based MW Industries, a provider of highly engineered springs, specialty fasteners, machined parts, and precision components, has announced the acquisition of Tri-Star Industries, Berlin, Conn.

Tri-Star manufactures standard and custom-designed threaded inserts and compression limiters in brass, steel, aluminum, and stainless steel for plastic applications. The company also produces high-volume screw machine products and CNC Swiss precision turned components.
