NN Inc. expands aerospace capabilities with new technology

Charlotte, N.C.-based NN Inc. has announced that its Power Solutions group, which designs and manufactures high-precision metal and plastic components, assemblies, and finished products, has deployed new technologies that extend its production capabilities for the aerospace and defense markets.

These technologies include advanced mill turn capabilities, automatic tool setters, and automated inspection technology, which allow the company to manufacture products up to 120 in. and 5,000 lbs. with complex geometries while holding dimensional tolerances of less than 0.0002 in.

NN plans to complete installation and qualification of these assets by Q4 2018.
