Suhner launches tool repair center in Georgia

Suhner has announced the opening of a new North American repair center on its campus in Rome, Ga. Located next to the existing repair center, the new facility features better storage and materials handling operations, creating 40 percent more workspace.

The repair area has increased by 50 percent, and the building includes new repair function areas and equipment, improved training facilities, and a test area. The company has hired additional staff to provide on-site training in operations and maintenance of the company’s automated tooling equipment and other products.

The service center repairs spindles, multiple spindle heads, slides, and live tooling. The company will soon add service for rotary index tables for CNC machines, and it repairs its own line of abrasive power tools and competitive brands of spindles, multiheads, and live tooling.
