Wisconsin Metal Tech celebrates 25 years in business

Wisconsin Metal Tech, a metal machining company located in Richfield, Wis., marks its 25th anniversary this year. In the last 15 years, the company has added two 8,000-sq.-ft. additions, and plans are underway for another expansion.

Founded in 1992, the company began its venture into the manufacturing industry by bridging the gap between material vendors and potential customers. By 1994 the industry began to see a great deal of consolidation and buyers were dropping out of the business, so the company began offering saw-cut materials. In 2002 the firm added centerless grinding and bar grinding services, followed by an addition of two CNC machines and rotary bending services in 2007.
