Eriez appoints president/CEO

Erie, Pa.-based Eriez, a provider of separation technology, has appointed Lukas Guenthardt to the position of president/CEO. His predecessor, Timothy Shuttleworth, has retired after serving in this position since 2004.

Guenthardt joined the company’s board of directors in 2011 and was named executive vice president of global strategy and development in 2014. Before that he was with K-Tron Intl. for 20 years, serving in various executive capacities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Basel and a master’s degree in management from Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
