Eriez Metalworking Demo Truck kicks off 2018 tour

The Eriez® Metalworking Demo Truck, a 32-ft. Peterbilt diesel rig with a 24-ft. equipment showroom, is once again traveling across North America to deliver hands-on training and education to customers and distributors. The 2018 tour got underway in late January on the West Coast.

The truck houses many of Erie, Pa.-based Eriez’ magnetic and vibratory material handling products, as well as equipment from the company’s HydroFlow® fluid recycling and fluid filtration lines. Demonstrations and workshops are designed to help participants find products to address their material handling, fluid recycling, and filtration challenges.

The heavy-duty rig is an interactive learning center with technology that lets company employees customize drawings and fulfill other customer requests on demand. Its onboard database provides instant access to the company’s brochures, photos, and video presentations. Since 2014 the truck has logged more than 130,000 miles, serving about 3,500 people in 41 states and four Canadian provinces.
