Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas breaks ground on new electric products facility

Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas, a manufacturer of material handling and automation systems, has broken ground for a new production facility in Houston that will support manufacturing of key electric warehouse products across the Jungheinrich, Cat lift trucks, Mitsubishi forklift trucks, and UniCarriers forklift product lines.

The 73,000-sq.-ft. facility will expand the company’s current electric manufacturing capabilities by serving as a dedicated fabrication space for in-house robotic welding and painting of masts and frames. It will integrate Mixed Model Line Design, Industry 4.0 process monitoring, and one-piece flow.
