U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam visits UniCarriers Americas

Illinois-based forklift manufacturer UniCarriers Americas Corp. (UCA) hosted U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam, R-Ill., at its Marengo facility May 2. Roskam’s visit represents the third Washington delegate to tour the facility in the past year.

During his hour-long visit, Roskam met with senior executives, addressed all UCA employees, and conducted a “town hall” Q&A. He acknowledged the forklift industry’s impact on the global economy and how UCA plays a significant part in the overall story. He also discussed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
