Walker Magnetics marks 125 years in business
Boyne City, Mich.-based magnetic products manufacturer Walker Magnetics, an Industrial Magnetics Inc. company, is celebrating its 125th anniversary.
Founded by Oakley S. Walker as a one-man shop in 1896, the company now has installations in more than 100 countries. Its products use permanent, electropermanent, and electromagnetic technologies for workholding, lifting, material handling, scrap magnets, and separation.
