Alro Steel opens new location in Iowa

Alro Steel has opened a new location in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The 197,000-sq.-ft. metals service center provides cut-to-size metals and next-day delivery throughout Iowa.

The location has storage for a variety of metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys, aluminum, and red metals. Shapes include bar, sheet, plate, pipe, tube, and large structural shapes.

The facility has multiple saws for bar, structural, and precision cutting, with quick access to such additional processing services as plate and tube laser, plasma cutting, and waterjet cutting.
