Andes Coil Processors adds cut-to-length line

Andes Coil Processors has installed a new cut-to-length (CTL) line at its Gary, Ind., facility.

The 60-in. refurbished Cincinnati CTL line joins existing 72- and 60-in. slitting lines, giving the company four lines running seven machine shifts with capabilities between 0.011 and 0.1875 in. thick in master coil widths from 0.625 to 72 in.

In addition to the CTL line, the company has acquired another 60,000 sq. ft. of space to accommodate production and storage. The steel toll processor provides rail, warehousing, slitting, cut-to-length, and trucking.
