Athader S.L. to deliver slitting line to CR Slitters

Athader S.L. of The Bradbury Group has received an order to install a high-production slitting line at CR Slitters’ new manufacturing facility in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Que.

The line will be able to slit 0.140-in. by 62-in. by 60,000-lb. coil running at up to 1,500 FPM and will include a high-speed packaging line. Features will include automatic coil loading, dual double-eccentric slitter heads with capstan and automatic slitter tooling changeover, loop double, mobile tension stand, automatic separator changeover, and a highly automated slit coil packaging line.
