Chicago Tube and Iron promotes two employees

Chicago Tube and Iron Co., a steel service center in Romeoville, Ill., has announced the promotion of two staff members effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Steve West has been named vice president of engineered products. He previously held the position of general manager of general line fabrication and, more recently, director of engineered products. West has 30 years of management experience within various industrial settings. He holds an MBA from Akron University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University.

Raul Saucedo has been appointed to the newly created position of operations manager of the Romeoville warehouse facility. He has 28 years of operational experience specific to the industry. Saucedo has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, as well as a certification in strategic metals management from Washington University.
